– God gave life to man forever:
Wis 1:13 : God is not the author of death, the destruction of the living brings him no joy.
Wis 2:23 : God created man for immortality, and made him in the image of his own nature.
– By the disobedience of man came death:
Gen 2:17 : Do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt die.
Gen 3:19 : Until you return to the land from which you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.
Wis 2:24 : It is through the envy of the devil that death entered the world, and those who belong to the devil will taste it.
Rom 5:12 : Just as sin entered the world through one man […] so death spread to the whole human race.
– But Jesus, the Christ, conquered it by his resurrection:
Rom 5:17 : Those who have received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through one, who is Jesus Christ!
1Cor 15,20-21 : Christ was raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who died!
Heb 2:14 : In order to destroy by death the one who had the power of death, that is, the devil.
– First fruits of our resurrection:
Rom 5:21 : As sin reigned to death, so also grace reigns through justice to eternal life.
Rom 6:23 : For the wages of sin is death, while the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1Cor 15:45 : The first man, Adam, was made a living soul (Gen 2:7); the second Adam is a life-giving spirit.
Col 1:18 : He is the Head of the Body, of the Church.
1Th 4:14 : If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who died in him.
2Tm 1,10 : Now it has been made manifest to us through the appearance of our Savior Jesus Christ, who destroyed death and raised up life.
Titus 2:11 : Indeed, the grace of God, the source of salvation for all men, has appeared.

Acts 13:48 : All those predisposed to eternal life made an act of faith.
Rom 2 :7 : Eternal life to those who persevere in doing good and seek glory, honor and immortality.
Rom 6:22 : Freed from sin and made servants of God, you bear the fruit of holiness; and the term is eternal life.
