– When creating man, God said that it was not good to be alone and gave him woman as a companion:
Gen 2,18.24 : It is not good for the man to be alone. I will give you a helper suitable for you.
Mt 19,5 : Therefore, a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife; and shall the two form one flesh?
Eph 5,21-31 : Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord, for the husband is the boss of the woman.
– Jesus promises to be present wherever two or three gather in his name:
Mt 18:20 : For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in their midst.
– Promise not to leave us orphans:
Jn 14:18 : I will not leave you orphans. I will come back to you.
