Synagogue

– Place where the Israelites gather to exercise their worship and frequented by Jesus:

Mt 4:23 : Jesus traveled throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues.

Mt 13:54 : He went to his own city and taught in the synagogue.

Mk 1,21.39 : They went to Capernaum. And already on the Sabbath day, Jesus entered the synagogue and began to teach.

Mk 6,1-6 : When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue.

Lc 4,14-30 : He taught in the synagogues and was acclaimed by all.

Lk 13:10 : Jesus was teaching in the synagogue on a Saturday.

Jo 6,59 : Such was the teaching of Jesus in the synagogue of Capernaum.

Jo 18,20 : I spoke publicly to the world. I taught in the synagogue and in the temple, where the Jews gather.

– After Pentecost, the apostles preached in the synagogues and went there to pray:

Acts 13:14 : There they entered the synagogue on the Sabbath and sat down.

Acts 15:21 : Moses, for many generations, has had his preachers in every city, since he is read in the synagogues.

Acts 17 :1 : They passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia and arrived in Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue.

Acts 18:4: Every Saturday he spoke in the synagogue and tried to convince the Jews and the Greeks.

Acts 19 :8: Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, disputing and persuading them.
