What does Nahum 1:9 say about God’s mercy to those who repent?

As 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Therefore, we must trust God and repent of our sins, knowing that He is merciful and that He offers forgiveness and salvation to all who seek Him in the heart.
