Cephas

– Name with which Jesus designates Peter, to indicate to him the mission for which he was preparing him: stone, foundation of the Church, as soon as he found it. So Peter is called by the apostle Paul.

1Cor 9,5 : Like the other apostles and the brothers of the Lord and Cephas?

1Cor 15,5 : Appeared to Cephas and then to the Twelve.
