Decalogue

– The Ten Commandments, written on stone tablets by God and given to Moses on Mount Sinai:

Ex 20,1-21 : Then God spoke all these words.

Dt 5,1-21 : During that time, I was between the Lord and you to convey his words to you.

– Jesus reduces them to two:

Mt 22,34-40 : In these two commandments the entire Law and the Prophets are summed up.

Mk 12,28-34 : And love him with all your heart, with all your mind […] and love your neighbor as yourself.

Lk 10,25-28 : He replied: “You shall love the Lord your God”.
