Deuteronomy 18:10-11 : Let no one make your son or daughter pass through the fire, or anyone who practices divination.
1Sm 28,3 : And Saul had driven the necromancers, the sorcerers and the diviners from the land.
2Kings 21:6 : He caused his own son to pass through the fire; he gave himself up to magic, astrology, necromancy and divination.
2Kings 23:24 : Josiah also put an end to necromancers, soothsayers, teraphim, idols and abominations.
1Ch 10:13 : Saul died because of infidelity […] and because he consulted necromancers.
Eclo 34,2 : Like one who seeks to catch a shadow or chase the wind, so is he who clings to deceitful visions.
Is 8,19 : If they say to you: Consult the spirits of the dead, the soothsayers, those who know secrets.
Is 29,4 : You shall speak softly […]; your stifled voice will rise from the dust […], your word will rise from the dust like a howl.
– According to biblical teachings, in the OT, we will die only once:
Ecclesiastes 9:10 : In the land of the dead, where you are going, there is no more work, nor knowledge, nor intelligence, nor wisdom.
Eclo 14,12-21 : Remember that death does not delay, and that the pact of the dwelling of the dead has been revealed to you.
– In NT too:
Mt 13:30 : Let them grow together until the harvest […]: first pull up the weeds […]. Then I collected the wheat.
