Humility

– Virtue pleasing to God:

Gen 18,27-32 : Abraham continued: “Do not take it the wrong way, if I still dare to speak to my Lord, although I am dust and ashes”.

Judges 6 : “O Lord,” replied Gideon, “with what shall I deliver Israel? My family is the last of Manasseh.”

2Ch 12,6ss : Then the Israelite leaders and the king humbled themselves […] In view of this act of humility.

2Chr 32:26 : Yet how he humbled himself with the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
