Obeying God means choosing life, righteousness and salvation. When we disobey God, we are choosing death, injustice, and eternal damnation.
Therefore, it is important for Christians to be faithful to the Word of God and hold fast to sound doctrine, as taught in 2 Timothy 4:3: “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, having a great desire to hear pleasant, they will gather for themselves teachers according to their own desires”.
In these times of false doctrines, it is essential to maintain obedience to the Word of God, not to deviate from the true faith and not to get involved in evil works.
Therefore, the importance of obeying the Word of God is clear in the Bible. She is our guide and our light, and it is through her that we can know God’s will and have a full life in Christ.
