Furthermore, we must remember that everything we have is a gift from God and be grateful for it.
When we are prone to envy or jealousy, we should turn to God in prayer and ask for His help in getting rid of these negative feelings. The apostle Paul encourages us in Philippians 4:6-7 to “not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” By trusting God and seeking peace from Him, we can get rid of envy and jealousy and live a life filled with peace and contentment.
